Pistol Annie, otherwise known as Baby Bear and Annie May, is the daughter of our Sunday Lou. She was born in 2014 and she looks just like her father, a gorgeous palomino named Sizzle. She is straight-up sass, but the sweetest little lady you’ll ever meet! She’s the smallest of the horses at MMR, but for good reason. She is indeed a little miracle!
If you read #sundaysstory, then you will recognize Annie as the foal that had to fight for her life…like the little engine that could, Annie was determined to make it. Against all odds, Annie thrived and became our little miracle baby. But don’t let her size fool you, she is like her mama in the sense that she thinks she’s the boss of everyone!
Oh, and if you haven’t noticed, Annie definitely wins the award for best hair; her long golden mane, forelock, and tail make all the other horses jealous! You can often find Annie hanging with Luke and Gypsy, our goats. Though Annie seems to love everyone she meets, Angel and Annie share a very special bond, not only did Angel help deliver Annie but they also celebrate the same birthday every year!
